I like this holster a lot ,,the patern and tooling is very impressive,, clean and precise ,,would still look good with one of my old 1911's in it..DOC..

I like the way you have the trigger and guard showing. The 1911's single action makes this a great design!

Beautiful job! I love the tooling pattern chosen, as well as the colors. They complement the pistol very well.

That is a beautiful holster, Tim. The carving is very nice.

I think the question Josh brought up about the trigger showing is a question of relative safety vs. quick-drawing. Some holsters are designed to expose the trigger for very quick drawing (such as the "Tom Threepersons" holster design), but the majority of pistol holsters are designed to protect the trigger from coming into contact with fingers until well after the weapon is drawn.

Howdy gang

thanks for all the kind words and as for the open trigger i didnt think bout it when i used the pattern out of the Al Stholman How to make holsters book

that pattern is the same one in there just a little bigger and the one in the book was an open trigger also so im not really sure how to answer the question

i just followed the pattern but it wouldnt be hard to adjust the trigger cover to meet customer specs

thanks again gang

I like it a lot very snug is how i do a holster and this one looks snug, very nice work,. I myself have only made one for me, and it is not only on the wrong side but very tough to get out. A liitle too snug, but that is how i wanted it for me.

Beautifultooling. The boarder is nice and the colors are great.

I like the bare bones shape. I like the trigger as it is. I guess I'm a fan of speed over safety.
