MHolzer Report post Posted April 4, 2008 Hi all, my name is Mike. I'm a hobbiest leathercrafter who has an interest in re-enactment goods. I mostly help my dad (whinewine - Russ) and learn that way. Now that things have slowed down at work, I'm ready to concentrate on the craft a little more seriously. I'm excited to learn everything I can about whatever I can. Thanks all, and have a good evening! - Mike
TomSwede Report post Posted April 5, 2008 Hello and welcome Mike! I'm sure your dad has told you about the board and what a nice place this is so I won't. I just think Russ has to do the coffe and donut thing for you aswell;-) Look forward to see what you'll come up with! Tom

MHolzer Report post Posted April 6, 2008 Thanks for the greetings everyone! I like to say I have no artistic ability, but I follow directions really well. I dabbled in masks a bit about a year ago but stopped because I never found any decent forms for the faces. I've mostly been making pouches which would be appropriate at ren faires. I'm starting to get into making leather bottles; packing the sand is really good for stress
