Members Larry Posted January 14, 2010 Members Report Posted January 14, 2010 My wife has asked me to make her a checkbook wallet. She wants a place for credit cards, currency and a checkbook with register. She wants a snap closure. Probably a short tab with a snap. I don't want the kits I've seen as I want to sew the parts and not lace them. Where is the best place to find the insides for a checkbook wallet? I've seen a roper wallet with a checkbook, would something like that work? Thanks everyone, Larry Quote
Members CitizenKate Posted January 14, 2010 Members Report Posted January 14, 2010 Hi Larry, Perhaps something from Chaylor-Fenneli will fill the bill... I believe Springfield Leather has recently become the only USA distributor for their nice line of wallet insides. I suggest sending a PM to Kevin Hopkins (or maybe he'll pipe up here). Kate Quote
King's X Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 Springfield leather...hit them up. Quote
Moderator Johanna Posted January 14, 2010 Moderator Report Posted January 14, 2010 Springfield Leather advertises in the banners if you need a link to their site and/or a phone number. Tell them you heard about them on leatherworker.net. Kevin Hopkins is the boss there, and he goes out of his way to make sure that people get what they are looking for. CF makes some very nice interiors for all sorts of wallets, checkbooks and other pocket items. They also have a line of notebook or binder insides, too. Johanna Quote
