Got this in the mail today ... is this "first blood"? Yes, I got his permission to post a pic, not sure my camera did it any justice ... THANKS, Johnny!

Our latest Pay It Forward (found under "All about us and off topic") encouraged members to make a card 3x5" or smaller, and send it to the next name on the list. This post is to show off what you got, or what you made.

I didn't take a pic of mine, so I'm hoping Dawn will post a shot of it...

Did you tool the signature or is that a stamp? I can't tell from the picture. If it is a stamp then it's really neat!

If that signature is a stamp, she has either a hydraulic press or 20" biceps :)

It's my maker stamp. A little different from the oval-style signature, but it seems to suit what I do.

LOL I use a 6lb maul. :showoff:

I like the ones that have included border stitching. What is that in the middle?

Kate

Hello, If your asking about the inlay in Timd's card,it's hitched horsehair.I used 6 hair pulls to get it small enough to fit.Your welcome Timd,it was fun to make! When's the next one?lol Ken Smith(justken)

Alrighty, then. Been like 10 days, and since the mail lady said it would take 2-3 days, I'm guessing Storm's card is in the wind. No tracking number, thought it was all in fun (figures).

Anti-climactic now, but here's what he didN'T get...

I was really looking forward to this thing. Weird for me, cuz usually I'm the last guy to care about such things. While I appreciate your gracious attitude, I'd really like to conform more closely to the selfish pig that I am and have my fun in this thing smile.gif

I'll send you a pm, so you can confirm that I didn't send the thing to the wrong address (on top of pig-ish, I'm not that bright, either). I thought I'd missed out, but if other folks aren't "done" yet, I can still get in ...

Really? Message blocked? Well, Okay. ...

I think several people are still working on theirs. Plus, there are some like me who neglected to take a pic of their card before they mailed it.
