Members Storm Posted April 9, 2008 Members Report Posted April 9, 2008 This one is an orignal pattern for the case and for the spray of oak leaves. She is lined with soft suede deer skin. Quote Please keep in mind that unless I ask for anyones critique I do not want nor require same.

TomSwede Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 This case looks great with it's black backgrounding and matching lace. The shape is interesting too. To me this is something I really would like to see in my own hands and turn around, viewing different angles. Wonderful! Members Duke Posted April 10, 2008 Members Report Posted April 10, 2008 hey, good lookin case. I see that you are having the same problems as I am about dying the background. I hate when dye gets on parts you dont want it to. I have found a solution that I would like to share with you. what I do is dye the entire piece one color(brown) and then I go back with a brush and apply a resist to the areas that I dont want black on. then with another brush I go through an add my black dye to the background. this helps to keep the dye off the areas I dont want them on.anyone else got input on this, please chime in an tell me if i'm off base. like I said, this is just my experience. Members CollinsMS Posted April 12, 2008 Members Report Posted April 12, 2008 Good job, especially the original design. The deer skin interior is a good touch. http://www.theleathercraftsman.com Quote
