Ambassador freak Posted January 12, 2008 Ambassador Report Posted January 12, 2008 Very nice man. I'm really diggin the skull snaps and i truly love the nice blue linning. The black w/orang thread make the blue lining really stick out yet the blue make the black w/orange thread stick out. hmmm. Nice touch. Quote It takes more then one freak to have a true freakshow. Ambassador Beaverslayer Posted January 12, 2008 Ambassador Report Posted January 12, 2008 Kevin, everything about this wallet is perfect, the contrast of colors from black to grey with the orange thread is very well done. I also like the brocade type liner. Great job as always. ken Quote Beaverslayer Custom Leather<br />Wearable Works of Art https://www.facebook...erCustomLeather

Members mulefool Posted January 12, 2008 Members Report Posted January 12, 2008 Really nice. When you sewed on that overlay do you cut it out that shape and stitch around it, or do you stitch and then trim around the stitching? What kind of machine do you have? Quote www.horseandmulegear.com
Contributing Member TwinOaks Posted January 12, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted January 12, 2008 Beautiful work, Kevin, inspiring even. I really like the contrasting and the awsome liner. Kevin King Posted January 13, 2008 Author Report Posted January 13, 2008 thank you all very much for the compliments! I do hafta keep a couple of secrets on the how to. Hope you all understand. But the description of leathers is: Body is black elephant, the grey stuff is just upholstery leather, the pocket leather is 1 oz black cow, the binding around the edge is black garment weight cowhide. The snap heads are some off the shelf pieces that i alter just a bit. This wallet is another one going to Hawaii. KK Quote The second kick from a jackass is of no educational value.
