Members Wyvern Posted March 22, 2010 Members Report Posted March 22, 2010 (edited) Found this on another forum that I visit on occasion. The frustrating part is not seeing how he actually put the back and the front together! Pretty interesting though, from the 1950's http://ssa.nls.uk/film.cfm?fid=0958 Would anyone know where to get one of the tools he uses to make the wavy cuts? Edited March 22, 2010 by Wyvern Quote

Members scottishshoemaker Posted March 23, 2010 Members Report Posted March 23, 2010 Cheers for posting this Wyvern, Only in the 50's would you work with glue with a suit on!!! The tool for making the wavy lines looks like a pricking iron, a heavy duty type, No.3 or 4. Quote
Contributing Member barra Posted March 23, 2010 Contributing Member Report Posted March 23, 2010 If your looking for a tool to make those wavy lines do a search for a pinking iron. Barra Quote
