yldbill Report post Posted April 27, 2010 After some lengthy searching I found a little info about a stitching horse I would like to copy. About a year ago there was a Ken Allen stitching horse on E-bay, one of the forum members won the bid and I have been unable to find another one like it. I found that Mr. Allen no longer makes these horses and the phone number that was given for him is no longer a valid number. Does anyone have any info on how to contact Ken Allen ( of Portales, New Mexico). I would like to find out if he would be willing to either give me or sell the plans to the horses that he was constructing. The one on E-bay had a clamp that would swivel and I think that design would be a nice fearture to have .

The last I talked to him, he was planning on building some more stitching horses. Thay are very nice. Ken My father-in-law is a friend of Ken Allen. After reading this post, we contacted Mr. Allen and requested permission to post his telephone number in this forum. Mr. Allen was pleased that interest had be expressed and was happy to release his number. He is still in business and would welcome your calls. His number is: 575.607.5342 He requested that you contact him during the evening hours. I have one of his stitching horses and a draw down stand. I can't say enough good things about them and would highly recommend them to you. Aermotor

yldbill Report post Posted May 1, 2010 Pics? There were some pictures posted by Antipalidin on January 26 2009 . The pictures show the moveable head that the horse has. I would link to the post by I'm not that versed in computer skills.

sdkid Report post Posted July 5, 2010 (edited) I will assume he only offers completed horses. I would love to have a set of plans to build my own though. Does he have a website? Edited July 5, 2010 by sdkid
