This purse is awesome. I shall not let my wife see it.

I think that we should instate some rules requiring disclaimers for those of us whose wife may be reading the posts with us. I just got a glare and a squinty look from my wife, followed by " Oooooooooo....I like."

Thanks Rookie, ya just made another item on the honey-do list for a lot of us married guys.... :head_hurts_kr:

And... very, very nice work. I'm sure she will proudly display that.

Tom- Thank you for the pointer. I am going to try it on my next project.

Thanks Crystal, I had to hand stitch it. I am thinking of investing in a sewing machine if I end up doing more leather work.

Twin Oaks- I will make sure to keep the next one on the down low. You could always tell your wife that I used the last cow with this pattern...ha ha.

rookie, first welcome to the forum, glad you found us. Also glad you posyed this wonderful looking purse. You seem to have a hidden talent in leatherworking. I'd love to see the hats you've made, can only imagine how good they are compared to your purse.

Wow! Just starting out?!?! You must make one hell of a hat! Keep it up and keep on doing what you have been doing.

I think you should change your name from "rookie" to "very talented". Great looking purse!
Perhaps we should go for really gifted.

Please keep in mind that unless I ask for anyones critique I do not want nor require same.
