276ccm Report post Posted April 27, 2008 Thanks all :-) I`m looking forwared to get a little thicker leather to test. Yea Tom, It´s pressed down from the back and then pressed down at the front on the oposit parts.. I`m not sure what I`m doing.. or what technique which is right and so on.. just testing and failing :-) I guess I should read a little to see how it should be done :-)

TomSwede Report post Posted April 27, 2008 It looks really cool and I can't imagine what yo can come up with this. Will be interesting to see. If you shred leather very fine and mix with glue you get what I think is called leather putty wich you can fill the hollow outs in the back to keep it from collapsing over time. Also check out ClayB's stuff on extreme embossing. Tom

Beaverslayer Report post Posted April 29, 2008 Welcome 276, great to have you here. That's an interesting way of doing what you've done. I like the way it turned out. By looking at some of the tutorials on leather carving, you'll be a master in no time. Ken

276ccm Report post Posted April 30, 2008 Thanks :-) Tested out a little more advanced pinstripe motive. I added a litte color as well for contrast, the leather is so thin and I think I would have made a few holes if I kept carving.. :-)
