Half Breed Cutting Saddle

Recommended Posts

Here are a few pictures of a half breed BW style cutting saddle that I just finished. Features Wickett and Craig medium weight skirting w/ dark oil finish, double line cut crescent border, rope center basketstamping and three hand cut brands.

Good job. It's a nice looking saddle.

Very "precise" and well designed. The clean lines of your leather work fit so great with the very angular Buster Welch tree. It's just a wonderful example of what a cutter saddle should be...... Jeff

Nice cutter. Looks very typey, clean, and sharp. Fit and finish is so precise it almost looks machine made. Very nice horn cover and wrap.

Could you give some specs? - tree maker, size, swell width, skirt size, final weight.

Very nice. I especially like the welts on the fork cover. You chose to use welts instead of a blind stitch, and did it very well. Those long welts are tough to get clean and straight, and those look great. JW
