It looked like a nice machine good score!

It looked like a nice machine good score! Yeah the price was unenviable and the seller end up been super nice, we spend like three hours taking about a million different things.. I really appreciate "Minnesota Nice" , trust me coming from San Francisco it makes a massive difference.. He mention the machine was "Dirty" but it was absolutely pristine everywhere I look.. Hey maybe you know of a good shop to get consumables like Bobbins and riddles, the only things missing are the "Mast for the cones" and the little "Feet" (well claws/Hinges) machine to the table.. Yetibelle Report post Posted December 18, 2017 Send me some pictures of what your missing, I may have them. There is a local place off University Ave called Service First Sewing, they would also be able to order parts and have bobbins and needles.

Oh great for now the only thing evident is that I'm missing the "Mast" where the cones get mounted and the rest are just consumables like needles that I can buy. (Actually I did a lot of work for Mountain hardware so I have a few "Bro deals" coming, just not a square inch of Leather.. (I want to re-do the front seats of my land cruiser in leather but I'm more of the waterproof, scratch proof rock climbing materials.. .I'm in the North East too, I drop by them tomorrow morning.. thanks Ricky Oh great for now the only thing evident is that I'm missing the "Mast" where the cones get mounted and the rest are just consumables like needles that I can buy. patineto Report post Posted December 20, 2017 (edited) I guess this Model 28's are Pink Polka dot Elephant, even if i have the bobbin and niddle with me the guy had no clue what he was looking at, then look on the book and found the parts with the typical "I can order them" well I can do that do from one of the vendor here.. Ps: not having a parking lot and been scare of getting a ticket those not really help fora relax shopping experience.. Tomorrow to another shop (where the seller of my machine used to buy the parts from) Edited December 20, 2017 by patineto
patineto Report post Posted December 22, 2017 I did read the rules, about starting a new posting but since this is the only one about this machine I'm making a exception.. why so little information about them..? Visit three shops in Minneapolis and they all look at me like I'm a martian and have zero parts for it, even sometime as simple as Bobbins... I need some few basic parts where can I get them..?? I will never be a "Pro" I'm kind of a hack actually but I do want my machine to run as well as it can.. thanks ricky

When we do stick our necks out, they sometimes get cut off when someone who actually knows the workings of said machine corrects the speculation. That said, I did a quick search on eBay for bobbins for your machine and found one seller that cross-referenced them with bobbins for a Singer 31-15 and 331k. There are multitudes of these Class 15 bobbins for sale. You can even buy them a Walmart and Joann Fabrics. The above is pure speculation on my part.
