Beaverslayer Report post Posted May 6, 2008 Great looking work DENEKEN, the armour looks like a lot of time went into it. What type of leather did you use for the softer part of the bags? it looks quite nice. Ken
DENEKEN Report post Posted May 7, 2008 Thanks all Great looking work DENEKEN, the armour looks like a lot of time went into it. What type of leather did you use for the softer part of the bags? I spent nearly 1 day on armor. I used a leather like "suedes", soft and tough.

tashabear Report post Posted September 25, 2008 (edited) Ooh. Love the bags! Is there a drawstring under the flap? Edited September 25, 2008 by tashabear

ArtS Report post Posted September 27, 2008 I really like these Deneken. Can you take a picture of the bag with the flap open so we can see under it. What shape does the soft portion have to be cut to in order to make these? Is the armor front and back one piece? I don't see a seam but the hanger may be hiding it. Thanks, Art

RuehlLeatherWorks Report post Posted October 1, 2008 Is there a specific date or location attached to those bags?
TomSwede Report post Posted October 1, 2008 Great stuff Deneken! The flap on the last purse really cught me on and love the plastron. Clever use of the stamps makes it looks just fantastic Nice and rich colours too. Tom
DENEKEN Report post Posted October 8, 2008 Is there a specific date or location attached to those bags? The firsts "aumonières" haven't specific date, but the rectangular is based on fabric "aumonière" of 15th century
