Members Spider Posted May 6, 2008 Members Report Posted May 6, 2008 The armor is cool but I am a bag man and I love these. Quote
Ambassador Beaverslayer Posted May 6, 2008 Ambassador Report Posted May 6, 2008 Great looking work DENEKEN, the armour looks like a lot of time went into it. What type of leather did you use for the softer part of the bags? it looks quite nice. Ken Quote
Members DENEKEN Posted May 7, 2008 Author Members Report Posted May 7, 2008 Thanks all Great looking work DENEKEN, the armour looks like a lot of time went into it. What type of leather did you use for the softer part of the bags? I spent nearly 1 day on armor. I used a leather like "suedes", soft and tough. Quote
Members calanneh Posted September 25, 2008 Members Report Posted September 25, 2008 I love the bags and the armour!!! My son's have been working on some armour and changed their design several times. If they ever finish it, maybe I will get to post a pic!! lol Good job Deneken!! cal Quote
tashabear Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 (edited) Ooh. Love the bags! Is there a drawstring under the flap? Edited September 25, 2008 by tashabear Quote
Members DENEKEN Posted September 27, 2008 Author Members Report Posted September 27, 2008 Yes there is a drawstring Here some new "aumonières" : And new model : Quote
ArtS Posted September 27, 2008 Report Posted September 27, 2008 I really like these Deneken. Can you take a picture of the bag with the flap open so we can see under it. What shape does the soft portion have to be cut to in order to make these? Is the armor front and back one piece? I don't see a seam but the hanger may be hiding it. Thanks, Art Quote
Members DENEKEN Posted September 27, 2008 Author Members Report Posted September 27, 2008 Here new pictures of armour : You can see the back and the braiding on shoulder. And "aumoniere" opened with patterns : Quote
Members RuehlLeatherWorks Posted October 1, 2008 Members Report Posted October 1, 2008 Is there a specific date or location attached to those bags? Quote
TomSwede Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 Great stuff Deneken! The flap on the last purse really cught me on and love the plastron. Clever use of the stamps makes it looks just fantastic Nice and rich colours too. Tom Quote
Members DENEKEN Posted October 8, 2008 Author Members Report Posted October 8, 2008 Is there a specific date or location attached to those bags? The firsts "aumonières" haven't specific date, but the rectangular is based on fabric "aumonière" of 15th century Quote
