Members Mike Posted December 29, 2010 Members Report Posted December 29, 2010 Paul Burnett has been a master at leather carving a LONG time. The original cover should be of interest to those who took his Victorian carving lessons. I'm keeping the later edition to keep my wife happy. The contents are the same, just the covers differ. Ah...the price. I am no good at this. $75 plus shipping. If you want to use paypal, add about 3% to the total. Mike Here's the book the way the stores liked it: ...... Here's the original cover, and it's what is for sale.
Members Mike Posted December 31, 2010 Author Members Report Posted December 31, 2010 Ok, guys. I'm re-pricing this......................................................................$50. Mike
Members Spinner Posted December 31, 2010 Members Report Posted December 31, 2010 Hey Mike, You might be having trouble selling this one due to the price. There are currently 6 copies available from various book collectors/vendors on Amazon all priced at $39.99 or less. Just thought the info might help in your effort to sell the item. http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0006Y5SNO/ref=cm_cmu_pg_un
Members Mike Posted December 31, 2010 Author Members Report Posted December 31, 2010 Thanks for the tip. I notice the Amazon product page has a photograph of the version one cover. I wonder if that is what the sellers are selling? I'll look into it. I wouldn't mind keeping it, the cover is great. Lovely knife work. I'll just keep it where the wife cannot find it. Mike
