Kevin King Report post Posted January 10, 2011 (edited) I have been fortunate enough to have been chosen by a very hot knifemaker by the name of Jeremy Marsh to make some custom knife pouches for some of his fantastic work. This one is made with Honey brown bison with copper mesh inlayed in a cream colored cowhide. The back of the pouch is the same cream colored cowhide with a custom Marsh Ti clip. This one is sharksin with cowhide overlay to match the engraving on the knife, with elephant skin and Marsh Ti clip on the back. I have had this mesh laying around the shop for years. I bought it thinking I would use it for something someday. Kevin, nice job on these. Thanks! I liked making these. It's a nice break from the wallets.

Is there a name of that type of style of edge, is so would you let me know? Thank you Thanks man! I've heard it called a french edge, or french binding or, french roll. I did a tutorial a while back that shows most of the process of making a wallet, including the binding. It's in the 'How do I do that' section. While most of the leather I used back then has changed, the method for the binding is the same. Here's a link KK Tutorial Wonderful work, as always, Kevin. Jeremy chose well. Kate Thanks Kate! Here's another. Black patent leather with ostrich leg inlayed in pig.
