Members KnotHead Posted January 13, 2011 Author Members Report Posted January 13, 2011 Steal away me amigo. There have been others to use the same idea before me. LOL... I just did not think of it till last minute for the photo. I had almost forgotten that I had a few of those turn buckles laying around. I saw one of my colleagues photos with one in it of a bell rope with the turn buckle on it and thought that would look kind of neat on that key fob. Then I remembered I had a few of them laying around. LOL... Thanks all for the kind comments. B... Quote Best Regards, Brian Kidd

HorsehairBraider Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 Looks good Brian! Your neighbor is a lucky person. That's a nice gift. On Miguelm's comments, I agree it comes off as mean-spirited and sarcastic. Hopefully it's just a mistake with the translating, and won't happen again. Members Spence Posted January 14, 2011 Members Report Posted January 14, 2011 I've done many bellropes with turnbuckles and never once did I dig into my brain to bring it to key fobs. Thanks Brian. BTW, do you remember where you got those? Quote Spence Mendoza, TX, USA

Thanks Brian. BTW, do you remember where you got those? Got those about 2 or 3yrs ago from a marine supply store in Seattle. Can't remember the name of the place right off though. Been too long ago. And thanks to all those who left very kind comments. B... Quote Best Regards, Brian Kidd

Members skyout Posted January 16, 2011 Members Report Posted January 16, 2011 (edited) Hi all, I just wanted to tell you that I'm the lucky dog that is "the friend in Florida". This beautiful key fob (with the turnbuckle) arrived yesterday. I can tell you guys and girls this is much, much nicer in hand than any picture you'll see of this awesome piece of art. Thanks so much again Brian, it's beautiful! Along with this Brian put some other goodies in the package. WOW! It felt like Christmas. 1/8" beveled roo lace A spike Bud Brewer made 3 blood wood fids by Mitch Gage Rick skyout Edited January 16, 2011 by skyout Quote
