Members Big Papa Leather Posted January 18, 2011 Members Report Posted January 18, 2011 Ok, I almost had a skull vomit session after this order. Doubtful that you can do much more to add skulls to this. granted, smaller skulls and more of them but DAMN. Old School style biker with 5 skulls on front. Small skull on belt loop. 3 on the back and a belt... I think the sickest part of this combo is the color. I wanted to do an aged, 1000 year old look to the skulls. Turned out pretty close. Didnt' photo the interior, but it is the red skull pile liner (what else huh?) I've used in other pieces. Thanks for looking. Allen Quote Big Papa Leather
BWL Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 WOW....................... You hit a home run with the color on the skulls. Please tell us how is did it. I've just started getting into sculls myself but, I'm still a novice when it comes to dying leather. Quote It's the impresion you leave that counts. Michael

Members treadhead1952 Posted January 18, 2011 Members Report Posted January 18, 2011 Hi Allen, I thought the clown was pretty intense on the last one, but all these skulls musta just about drove you outta your (all puns fully intended) skull! Sorry, I just couldn't resist. But they do look pretty righteous, nice work. Quote Jay treadhead1952 Las Vegas, NV

Members D3badger Posted February 12, 2012 Members Report Posted February 12, 2012 Did you have to carve the outline and eyes of the smaller skulls or did you stamp the outline and eyes? Doing a belt project with little skulls going around and your wallet skulls look right on with what I'm looking for. Your belt is awesome but a little over the top. How did you get the antique look to the piece? Thanks Ok, I almost had a skull vomit session after this order. Members chancey77 Posted February 15, 2012 Members Report Posted February 15, 2012 That wallet looks great! I like the background and the skulls have great patina! I have also made a skull belt similar to that before many years ago. I like to see them done by hand it always looks better than the Kmart ones:) Quote
