Maureen Report post Posted February 17, 2011 We got an order a while back for three personalized collars for some very large dogs. Off the top of my head I think the measurements were in the 24-28 inch range! Here they are worn like belts on my son Maureen www.longdogleather.com

rickybobby Report post Posted February 18, 2011 Very nice job. Are they done in the martingale style like your others? You support a great cause, rescue animals are the best! Rick
floyd Report post Posted August 24, 2012 I'm new here, so my $.02 aint worth even that much....but looks good to me. How did you get the names in red while leaving the rest black? I'd love to make one of these for my dog. He's not quite as big as a Cane Corso, but he's got a 19" neck. We got an order a while back for three personalized collars for some very large dogs. You can also do what we call double dye where you do the first color saturation dyed with a wool dauber. When that is dry you can then lightly block dye a second (darker) color on top so that the under dye shows in the deep places and the block dyed color is on the surfaces. The red/burgundy star collar and the teal/black belt were done this way. Most of the others are block dyed over the plain leather... I believe these were ordered as buckle collars rather than martingales.
Spence Report post Posted August 24, 2012 If you don't mind me asking, where do you get your gemstones already mounted? Or do you mount them yourself. Your work is awesome, btw.
Sylvia Report post Posted August 24, 2012 Wow, I'd hate to see that dog food bill. Nice work! LOL I would have to be responsible for cleaning the yard or kennel after they ate all that food. To the original poster... very nice work.
