Members Spinner Posted April 4, 2011 Members Report Posted April 4, 2011 Never would have thought of making a trash can but that's pretty cool! I'll have to make one of those for the new work area once I get in there in August. Did you use a existing can for the form/lining it? Did you use a existing can for the form/lining it? no i dont use a trash can what i do is get me a small trash can and then build my leather one ,once lined and tooled i set the small one inside so it is easy to empty, also i put a plastic liner in the small one. the small trash can will determine the size of your leather one. hope that makes since. if not just let me know and i will try to do a better job of explaining it. thanks for all the nice complents Quote when it comes to helping others always remember someone helped you once[feel free to visit my galleryEmail me

Like the plastic inserts they put in chrome trash cans. well what i do is go to wal-mart or office supply store buy a small trash can that will determen the height and diameter of the leather can. when finished i will put a plastic bag in the small trash can to keep anything that they might throw in it (empty pop can etc) from leaking through on to my leather one . hope this helps john Quote when it comes to helping others always remember someone helped you once[feel free to visit my galleryEmail me
