Members bitone40 Posted May 2, 2011 Members Report Posted May 2, 2011 I made this Holster to try sell but I love the way it came out. I decided to use it as my own carry rig . Members Rayban Posted May 2, 2011 Members Report Posted May 2, 2011 Cool stitching, you must set the outline of the gun after you stitch, correct? Quote Raybanwww.rgleather.net
Members particle Posted May 2, 2011 Members Report Posted May 2, 2011 That looks great! Love the decorative stitches. If you're looking for feedback, the only thing I might suggest is that you try balancing the stitch on the right with the one on the left if you have the room. The one on the left looks great, but the one on the right almost looks incomplete to me. Dunno - maybe it's just me... Looks great though! How did you end those decorative stitches? Did you tie them off on the back? Quote Eric Adamswww.adamsleatherworks.com | Facebook | YouTube | Instagram
Members bitone40 Posted May 2, 2011 Author Members Report Posted May 2, 2011 Cool stitching, you must set the outline of the gun after you stitch, correct? Hey Rayban , I just did like I do all other holsters , trace the stitch pattern, mark the stitch holes and then I just used a compass/wign divider to keep the same length between the two rows and then free handed the swirl line . That looks great! Hey Particle, Thanks for the comments , Yea I did want to run the stitching all the way down on the right side but I did not have enough room for the two parallel stitch lines and the third line coming back up to swirl, so I just had to do it like it is . As far as ending the stitching, actually the 1st hole in the swirl on both sides was the starting point for the stitching, I went up the swirl, outwards on the ears and up the profile of the gun and at the end, back-stitched 3 holes. Hope this helps Quote Strong Hide Holsters Facebook Page My website (under construction ) page
