Members Joon1911 Posted June 3, 2011 Members Report Posted June 3, 2011 Hi, Does anyone know if the model designation of HS on a Tippmann Boss mean it is one of the newer cast aluminum units or one of the older cast iron units? Thanks Quote
Denster Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 Hi, Does anyone know if the model designation of HS on a Tippmann Boss mean it is one of the newer cast aluminum units or one of the older cast iron units? Thanks I don't believe it has anything to do with it. Two ways to check though. See if a magnet sticks to the frame or weigh it. The aluminum frame one weighs a smidge under 25lbs the cast iron is about 12lbs heavier. Quote
Members Dwight Posted June 3, 2011 Members Report Posted June 3, 2011 Mine is a 2007 (?), . . . is aluminum, . . . and has the HS designator. If you want to be certain, . . . get their number off the WWW, . . . call and ask for Ben, . . . he'll tell you. The whole bunch is super to work with. May God bless, Dwight Quote
