Kevin King Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 One shark, one elephant, two cows. Front is shark with cowhide overlay. Back is elephant with stealth elephant belt loop. Interior is veg-tan cow. Bound in cow. Quote The second kick from a jackass is of no educational value. Official Freak Fan Club President FACEBOOK kevinkingleather.com

Kevin King Posted July 4, 2011 Author Report Posted July 4, 2011 (edited) Very nice work! without the knife in place .. it looks like a slipper! Natalie Thanks! Ya, I was actually thinking it looked like a sleeping bag. I like it. Whats the weight of leather used on that piece? Thank you! The veg-tan is about a 4-5 oz. The shark is about the same thickness, and the elephant is a little thinner. The ole' Juki plowed right through all the layers though. Wow, Nice sheath! Nice Knife! Where did you get that knife, if you don't mind my asking? Thank you! The knife is one that one of my dealers sent to me to have the sheath made. It is a Tom Ferry knife. Hand engraved bolsters, and lightning strike carbon fiber scales. It is a cool knife. KK Edited July 5, 2011 by Kevin King Quote The second kick from a jackass is of no educational value. Members mmirob Posted July 6, 2011 Members Report Posted July 6, 2011 That is simply awesome! I am intrigued by the inlay/overlay art. What size needle and thread do you use? I think I'd need a magnifying glass to stitch like that. WOW! Quote
