feels, smells and looks like old style European leatherwork.....amazing work and a super cool seat for any scooter!!

You done well, I like the matt black finish....again, looks like old world leather!!

Is it vinegreroon...?

Love the deep tooling and even coloration on the tan and brown.....

Question, how do you wet form AFTER you tooled so deep without loosing detail and sharpness in your tooling??

Again, outstanding work...well done!!

Ciao

James

Thanks James...No I do not use vinegaroon or similar things ( I have never seen that thing!) ...here we use alcohol based dye, made in Italy, obviously (Nero d'Inferno is the name of the product)

About the how to do that work with wet-leather....it depends from many factors ...one of them is our leather tanning, other is the position of design....and - not the last reason- the way to use the hands molding the leather around the foam....look more on FACEBOOK : Sergio Falco)

I gotta give you props on that skull, bro! Did you do the texturing of the bones with a pear shader, or beveler? Great job!

Very nice work! Did you dye the leather after wet forming and stitching? Also when wet forming, did you only wet the sides of the seat leather, or did you wet all of it? Thanks!

That is an awesome job! Might look for something similar for my Heritage Springer. Looking for a skull pattern for an iPod case. Did you draw that one up yourself or find it somewhere?
