You done well, I like the matt black finish....again, looks like old world leather!! Is it vinegreroon...? Love the deep tooling and even coloration on the tan and brown..... Question, how do you wet form AFTER you tooled so deep without loosing detail and sharpness in your tooling?? Again, outstanding work...well done!! Ciao James Thanks James...No I do not use vinegaroon or similar things ( I have never seen that thing!) ...here we use alcohol based dye, made in Italy, obviously (Nero d'Inferno is the name of the product) About the how to do that work with wet-leather....it depends from many factors ...one of them is our leather tanning, other is the position of design....and - not the last reason- the way to use the hands molding the leather around the foam....look more on FACEBOOK : Sergio Falco) Quote
Members alb Posted August 28, 2011 Members Report Posted August 28, 2011 Almost a shame that you're going to be sitting on that. Beautiful work. Ann Quote
