Croc Embossed Cow Hide Bangle

Decided i needed a black bangle...wooden blank, wrapped in soft sheepskin with middle strip of croc embossed cow over a few strips of leather to give the centre a rounded shape. I was happy when it was finished, but wasn't so happy when i went to try it on...guess who picked up the wrong size blank?? me!!!!...it doesn't fit!!! I can't get it on!!!!

How is the leather fit to the wood? Are there two edges brought together somewhere?
