No one has seen them anywhere? I seen the post where someone was looking for eyelets and rivets. Those would be good to. But not needed on my current project. John

I use Paragear.com for black Pull-the-Dot snaps. They have a $25 minimum, but that's less than most sources.

Zack White Leather has black Chicago screws:

woodandsteel thank you for the reply. I am looking for a tru black or flat black finish. Most if not all places selling black snaps or chicago screws list them as black but there more like a gunmetal which still shines. I would like to find ones that look like they have black paint on them if that describes it better. john

It's really kind of crazy that Flat BLACK hardware is so hard to find. Seems like it shouldn't be that difficult to find... but I can't find any either.

I posted the same question here not too long ago... Still haven't found what I'm looking for :censored2:

Thanks for the reply. Seems like someone would want to make some non reflective hardware with all the people making things. Parkerized hardware would be really cool but can't do it here myself. But it would be nice to be able to buy it somewhere premade. ??The search continues!!!

The Pull-The-Dot snaps are Government Black, which is more of a matte black. It's not glossy.

woodandsteel thank you for adding that. Couldn't tell by the picture. That is good now just finding the same in chicago screws. John

i flame my stainless out and they turn a matte black...not for sure if thats the color but it doesn't come off....

What kind of flame are you using? Is the black not just soot, that rubs off?

no, it's just heat...i have a micro torch that i setup and hold the stainless in front of...the color ranges from blues-purples-black...and no it's not a film....i first used my kitchen stove...get a piece of stainless and heat it up...you will get the metal to a orangeish red state and then stop and cool it in water fast....it's pretty cool...you can do the same thing to titanium but the flame has to be much hotter...
