sinpac Report post Posted November 11, 2011 I am looking at a 29-4 Machine now the only problem is the rod that goes between the treadle and cam is missing. I was wonder that this is called and could someone take a photo and give me the measurement of the rod and hole locations? TIA Chris

sinpac Report post Posted November 11, 2011 (edited) Chris, The holes should be 12&3/4" apart Bob Thanks Bob! So Bob from center of hole to center of hole is 12 3/4"? If I were looking for a replacement ( I think there were two different kind wood or iron) I know the wood ones were made of maple. What is the total length of the piece? Thanks Chris Edited November 11, 2011 by sinpac
CustomDoug Report post Posted November 12, 2011 ... I was wonder that this is called and ........? TIA Chris If I'm not mistaken it's called a pitman. I wouldn't be surprised if pitmans from other Singer treadles would work (non 29s), but get measurements first.
