Purse Lining Question

Recommended Posts

Ok I wanted to ask the people who know first before I start. I know when lining a book cover it is good to slightly close the cover when gluing the lining in so not to get wrinkles when folded closed or open. Should I bend the flap of the purse as I am gluing the lining in so not to get wrinkles? I am doing a Tandy western clasic II purse for my daughter. Just so you know it one peice for back and flap. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. John

I would bend it about half of what you would do with a book cover. You don't want the glued bend to interfere with opening the purse.
