horse carving

I've been working on the front flap of a satchel type purse. Let me know what you think of the carving. He's a draft type horse.

Cindy, Your horse is great! Keep up the good work. I love the color you have on it.

you can get lot's of help and tips on this site and see lots of good leather carving and braiding so keep up the good work and keep posting. I am glad you like my feather I did. I answered you but anyway

I bought the How to carve feathers from Hide Crafters by Rob Barr and it was worth the money,

Cindy, I looked at you profile and I sure would like to try the saddle I made last fall on your horse to see how it fit and would look on a horse. Here are a couple of pictures of it.

Hi Cindy and welcome to the forum. It's nice when new people jump right in with questions and share pictures too. I think your horse looks really good. You've got a lot of detail and the color looks nice too. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
