anne newkold Report post Posted June 25, 2008 (edited) Thought I would post this real quick during my break time. This is a purse kit I did for the Valley fair. You guessed it, I am one of those who always seem to have more then 6 projects going at the same time. That way when I get frustrated with one I can still do some leather work and work on something else for a bit. The pattern on it was for a saddle bag by Bob Brown. I just liked it better than the ones that came with the kit. Floral is really not my thing, ...... yet. I know with some practice I MIGHT get better at it. You might notice I did a couple decorative cuts on one part and then never went back and finished doing them. Well I got in a hurry to get it done in time for the fair that I was putting the X-1 on it when I remembered "oh no, forgot to go back and do that"! Oh well, live and learn. carr52 Report post Posted June 26, 2008 I really like that Anne. Very nice job. I've been wanting to do a handbag. I already have a pattern for saddlebags. I'm gonna try it. Thank you for the idea. My saddle bag pattern isnt shaped like that but I guess I'll just have to fiddle with the design till I get want I want. Thanks again. Tom
