Members Glendon Posted July 26, 2012 Members Report Posted July 26, 2012 Yep that's the one. Inch diameter, and about an inch high. I'll be trying it out tomorrow. I'll try it in my arbor press and with a handle and post some quick pictures if you like.
Members Glendon Posted August 4, 2012 Members Report Posted August 4, 2012 (edited) Here's a picture of BRLs "Saddle Stitched By Hand" stamp in use. I like it. I've included a couple different dying options of what can be done with it. The left hand impression was done by hand, and the other two where done with an arbor press. After doing the stamping, I decided to try out some eco-flo saddle tan I never used. As you can see, it didn't come out so hot. Edited August 4, 2012 by Glendon
Members Sylvia Posted August 4, 2012 Author Members Report Posted August 4, 2012 Just got my second order from Black River Laser in the mail today. Picked up the centering template, and two of their lesser advertized templates, a five piece key fob set, and a leather fly swatter template. I also picked up their new "saddle stitched by hand" delrin stamp. Those centering templates are great aren't they? They work perfect. The "saddle stitched by hand" stamp is pretty cool A teacher pointed at me with a ruler and said "At the end of this ruler is an idiot." I got detention when I asked "Which end?"
Members Potroast Posted August 6, 2012 Members Report Posted August 6, 2012 Glendon, I dig your Black River Laser stamp. Its different than mine. They're always making up new designs... You never know what you'll see. I know its been mentioned... But the BRL leather gauge is awesome. It is priceless when paired with the high tech leather splitter from Tandy.
Members Bobby hdflame Posted August 18, 2012 Members Report Posted August 18, 2012 I'm having issues with swelling in my feet and legs at the moment so I can't take a pic for you. But if you go here http://www.blackrive...er-craft-tools/ There are a couple pictures of the set. You get the positive form and the negative forms with the set. in sizes 1", 2", 3" and 4" I played with mine for a while today. They work great! Well, hell... I'm sure they won't mind me posting their pictures here. Are you talking about the ARC & CURVE TEMPLATE SET? I didn't see a "SPIRAL"???
