stitchwizzard Posted May 3, 2012 Report Posted May 3, 2012 Just for fun, I laser cut a template set of CitizenKate's Biker Wallet PDF patterns from her wonderful and generous tutorial pinned here. http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=20414 I put in holes to transfer stitching points for hand stitching just in case I get ambitious and avoid the temtation to machine sew. I hope to make the wallet when I get extra time. Maybe this coming winter or next, or next etc. In fact, I will probably just give this set away to some poor deserving member! That way It won't be sitting in my template drawer reminding me! Jerry already has too many wallets already anyway. Later!! Stitch~ Quote

stitchwizzard Posted May 3, 2012 Author Report Posted May 3, 2012 Fine looking work. so if you did another set for sale what would the selling price be? Hey, Thanks for the comments guys! I'm not sure if I can sell these or not. Depends if they are public domain or not. I guess I'd need Kate's permission. Gotta check on that. I am hoping that whoever I end up giving them to will be kind enough to make me a wallet. So that I can laser engrave a photo of my son's Superglide on the front flap, finish it, and send it to him in Afghanistan. That would give him great incentive to come home safely. And a pic or two of their finished one(s) would be really nice too! Thanks, Stitch~ Quote

Tinneal Posted May 7, 2012 Report Posted May 7, 2012 Wow! I've always wanted to do something like this. It's just a matter of finding people who will do custom lazer work. I think I'll have to stick to cereal box cardboard for a while yet. Quote
