SandSquid Report post Posted June 2, 2012 (edited) Thinking about making some crackers. Any of you ever make them? I refuse to.....Look up "vicarious liability". Think about slapping you or your precious cargo. They are illegal is some jurisdictions.... No need to attract additional attention from the man. GrampaJoel Report post Posted June 7, 2012 (edited) For those interested in finding trouble, I present what a cracker ( old school get back!) is. see here--->>>cracker and here.--->>> cracker And I have seen them with "BB"or ' ball bearings' in the laced end. Stay safe. Joel Edited June 7, 2012 by GrampaJoel

ironhead13 Report post Posted June 7, 2012 legal smegal..... For the others, a cracker or what some call a "get back whip" is simply a whip (any length) that is usually attach to the brake lever with a quick release clasp that has some weight to it. It can be used as a weapon though not a very good choice for one... i prefer cap guns so to speak (HOWEVER, NOTHING IS A WEAPON UNTIL IT IS USED AS SUCH), or signify club colors. However, they are called crackers as the general use is for cracking windshields, or side windows, when a vehicle decides to overstep it's bounds (usually intentional). Lug nuts and ball bearings are sometimes carried, however, those only really do the job when being tailgated.

bustedlifter Report post Posted June 27, 2012 Sooo, you swing this " get back" whip at some car and the driver gets pissed and decides to run your ass over. Sounds like a good deal to me.
ironhead13 Report post Posted June 28, 2012 Sooo, you swing this " get back" whip at some car and the driver gets pissed and decides to run your ass over. Sounds like a good deal to me. LOL. Yeah, they'd have to catch up though.
bustedlifter Report post Posted June 29, 2012 LOL. Yeah, they'd have to catch up though. Or follow you to the next stop light/sign. See you on the road later. Run your scooter over in a parking lot. Or worse yet, run somebody else off the road and then realize it wasn't the one who hit their vehicle.
