Santo Report post Posted June 5, 2012 Thinking about picking up a local used one. Would this be a good entry level machine or should I hold off for something with a motor?Thank you
Andy Report post Posted June 5, 2012 Thinking about picking up a local used one. Would this be a good entry level machine or should I hold off for something with a motor?Thank you You'll be much happier with a motor, but if this will get you working/producing it'll pay for itself and a new machine in no time! Santo Report post Posted June 5, 2012 Thanks Andy! I've been making heavy duty working harnesses and the hand stitching is killing me. I like the look but it's taking me too much time. I was looking at a boss or tech sew ga5, but this one came up at 700. Im still a ways from the coin to get the tech , and the need for something was now. The only thing was I couldn't find to much info on this machine. Any info would help.

The only thing was I couldn't find to much info on this machine. Any info would help. I did some research on this unit a few years ago. There was a lot of noise when it was announced. That soon fizzeled... I emailed them and they would have been happy to sell me one but could provide no reference in Wisconsin so I could ask additional questions of a happy user... I know a professional holster maker who has No 1 and he likes it but dosnt use it everyday.... I did look at his and it is built like a tank... Not trying to dis them, just relate my personal expireance... If one could get it cheap enough it would be better than hand stitching... Just Sayin... Santo Report post Posted June 5, 2012 No that's great info. That was the thing I could find nothing on them really except the initial threads when they first came out. Every thing I did find says they were built well but is there anyone using one out there. What is the long term durability problems
mogwild Report post Posted June 5, 2012 (edited) There is a Tippmann Boss on Kijiji close to me for $850 if your interested in that sort of thing, few holster guys use them and from what I've read, for a step up from hand stitching they are pretty good. Santo Report post Posted June 5, 2012 I'm going to take some peices over when I go look at it. If the stitches look good I guess I'll buy it. Seems like a durable machine for the money
