benlilly1 Report post Posted July 19, 2012 Thanks guys... I used 1/4" lacing with 1/4' slots made by a sharpened stainless steel screw driver. I praciticed making holes with a round hole punch and I didn't like the look . I really like using the 1/4" lace. It looks beefy. AND THE LACING GOES FASTER! Togn Report post Posted July 28, 2012 (edited) Thanks...I used Fiebings Tan oil dye all over, antiqued it in the crest and leather balm to finish it off . Thanks Benlilly for the response. I have a doubt,: is this finish water resistant? Edited July 28, 2012 by Togn
benlilly1 Report post Posted July 28, 2012 Togn, I don't think you can ever completely water resist leather. Just keeping a leather balm applied will help though.
