Rotary Punch?

I need a new rotary punch and was looking at the Osbourne 155, is it worth the money or are there better ones availble?

I have two of them. One is nearing 60 years old the other is probably about 45. I file the anvil now and then, otherwise I have never done anything to them.

Obviously cannot say that for the new ones but........ Don't bother with the cheapies.

If you have a buffing wheel it wouldn't hurt to buff the tubes. If you don't they will stick in the leather till they slick up.

I like the single tube ones the best. But they cost a lot more in the long run.

The single tube, 153, looks to have a bit deeper throat and the tubes appear longer than the ones on the rotating 155. Am I correct? Undoubtedly the single tube is stronger. Hmm, single tube may be the best as I really only use 2 sizes on my cheap punch anyway.
