Members LeatherLegion Posted October 26, 2012 Members Report Posted October 26, 2012 After a bit of trial and error i finally came up with a pattern for a fitted sleeve...so here is the first one that came out nice enough to be posted in the "show off" section...lol...The leather is 4-5oz veg tan and it was stitched with #138 thread. As far as dyeing goes I end up using again the spray can from Tandy with some dilluted dark brown As usual any comments are more then welcome Thanks ! e.d Quote
Members Horrrk Posted October 26, 2012 Members Report Posted October 26, 2012 Looking very nice, Legion.. Good fit, neat stitching and edges too.. The forming looks to have come out well, so well done.. Is it a lined case or just bare leather in there.? Regards Phil Quote Being defeated isn't the worst thing in life..giving up, is..

Members Horrrk Posted October 27, 2012 Members Report Posted October 27, 2012 Bare leather...i might have a hard time forming it once is lined. Just a thought if you want to line it..to help protect the phone screen.. Have a look at Hunio's thread on molding a card case..I think he molds the lining with the outer too.. Seems that way from the pics on page 2.. http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=42883&st=15&p=270335entry270335 Regards Phil Quote Being defeated isn't the worst thing in life..giving up, is..
