Thank You! Useless Side Bar Is Gone And Site Speeds Up!

Whoever did it a huge thank you! The useless side bar down the right that robs screan space and horibly slows down load times is gone. YEA, and thank you! The main page is loading in 2.5 seconds on my computer now, it usually takes 8-9 seconds to load. I am excited to check my work computer, it has been takes 16-18 seconds to load . I never know for sure if it was the side bar but it was what would lock things durring loading so in my less than computer smartness I did blame what visibly stopped it.

Leatherworker has been the slowest loading site I visit (I am online a couple hours a day) since the big crash. There was a very short time that it sped up after the update, untill it was "fixed" and the brakes were anchored down again. Now it is not only average, it loads fast! THANK YOU!

All you have to do is click the X to collapse the sidebar. I don't know why your pages are taking so long to load. I can't duplicate your problem on any other computers or networks. Glad you had an improvement!

For follow up information:

I have now tried the 4 differant computers on 3 differant providers. It apears that the side bar box signifantly slows down the loading on the main page. It more than doubled the speed on my main computer that I use (from just over 4 seconds to right at two). On my work computer it went from 16 seconds to 12 seconds to load. All 4 showed significant speed increase. If you do not this site loading slowly try closing the sidebox and see if this helps.

I'm glad you mentioned this, the "x"doesn't show up until I run the cursor over it.
