ReneeCanady Report post Posted January 5, 2013 Did the purse over the last few days and I just HAD to make a matching wallet. I was lucky enough to find KK's tutorial on this forum which gave me an awesome starting point. I only did one slot for cash and omitted the zipper. Where she had the zipper I just made it a pocket with another card slot inside of that pocket. Her wallet was awesome!!! However, it was a little more than I wanted to tackle at my newb wallet skills. I will be looking "in" next time I go dancing!!

ReneeCanady Report post Posted January 6, 2013 Thank you very much! As you can see though, the dye on the wallet came out a bit lighter than the bag. Thank goodness one will be inside the other I don't know if I completely forgot to do a second coat of dye on it or if this was the result of it being thinner leather on the wallet. You live and learn right?
Aurelie Report post Posted January 6, 2013 nice jb Renee ! do you have the link of that tutorial? can't find it and i am curious about the process :D
ReneeCanady Report post Posted January 6, 2013 Thanks! http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=20414 Hopefully that link works If not, it is under the patterns/templates section of this forum and it's pinned so it's at the top. It is only showing how to do the inside step by step, but if you click the link she has inside the tutorial you can print her pattern and the pattern has the outside cover and another pattern incase you decide to line the cover as well.
