Members Matt Alsaker Posted January 24, 2013 Members Report Posted January 24, 2013 I just saw these and commented up in the photo gallery. Very nicely done. I've never had any real luck molding a double magazine pouch. That one looks outstanding. Quote http://www.alsakercustomleather.com/ https://www.facebook.com/AlsakerCustomLeather?ref=hl
Members troop Posted January 24, 2013 Author Members Report Posted January 24, 2013 Thanks Matt. i got the idea a while back to make mag molds out of high density polyethylene. i had a friend who does wood working carve out the blanks and molds to my specs. i wet the leather and press into the molds with my harbor freight 12 ton press. they come out much cleaner that way. Members Colt Hammerless Posted January 24, 2013 Members Report Posted January 24, 2013 Just commented on these in your gallery too. Hard to believe that's you're first attempt! That's actually a really good concealed carry rig, because I spent so much time looking at the holster itself, I didn't realize there was a gun in it! Paul Quote
Members Abram Posted January 24, 2013 Members Report Posted January 24, 2013 Beauiful pieces of work. Whart thickness of leather did you use for the Mag pouch? Thanks Quote
