Members paprhangr Posted February 23, 2013 Members Report Posted February 23, 2013 How much lace is needed to do a double loop around a small solo Bobber motorcycle seat? Quote
Contributing Member TwinOaks Posted February 23, 2013 Contributing Member Report Posted February 23, 2013 Since i don't do a whole lot of lacing anymore, the number might be off.....but you can get pretty close to the length by measuring the total linear distance and multiplying by 7. Members Jax Posted February 23, 2013 Members Report Posted February 23, 2013 I agree with the method of finding the required length, but if I were doing it I'd use lengths of lace no more then 11/2 yards to save the lace from getting raggy & worn, then dry splice as needed. Good luck with your project. Quote
Members paprhangr Posted February 23, 2013 Author Members Report Posted February 23, 2013 more than 7x alot? Quote

Contributing Member TwinOaks Posted February 23, 2013 Contributing Member Report Posted February 23, 2013 you bury the end between the pieces you're lacing and overlap the start/stop of the two.
