Recently finished an OWB holster using Ostrich Leg Skin for a Glock 26. Just wondering what others may think about it?

Gary (Betz Gunleather)

As requested I'm attaching some photos of the back, edges, and belt slots.

Overall construction looks pretty good, lets see the edges and back and a better shot of the holes.

As requested I've attached more photos of the edges, back, and belt slots. This are from my phone though.

Thanks.

Nice work. Anyone should be proud to have one of these.

After just working with the ostrich leg skin a few days ago for a Sodbuster sheath (posted photos), I would say that is a fine job you did! I really like it. I found I really like the ostrich, but the larger scales can be difficult to cut at times and the edging is a little tricky. I did not edge bevel my edges or the belt loops, but did sand a little and applied brown edge coat to the outer edges................Rory

Curious as to what ounce leather you used for the base. Looks excellent, by the way.

Used 8/9 oz leather.
