Members Fritzdecat Posted March 8, 2013 Members Report Posted March 8, 2013 (edited) Hello Leather worker Forum , I recently welded up this frame for a rocking chair and then made the seat and back from 2 inch wide strips of 8oz sides if anyone ever needs a chair or bench frame let me know and I can give you a good price Edited March 8, 2013 by Fritzdecat Quote
Moderator immiketoo Posted March 8, 2013 Moderator Report Posted March 8, 2013 Welcome Fritz! That's a really sweet chair you made. Looks great! Quote
Members Fritzdecat Posted March 8, 2013 Author Members Report Posted March 8, 2013 Thankyou I am experimenting with some other chairs and benches and gradually getting a handle on the leather working, making the seat and back with straps makes nice leather seating without a ton of work. I use grommets in the end of the straps and tie the ends of them together with leather laces I'll post a video of the chair which shows the back Quote
Members DoubleC Posted March 8, 2013 Members Report Posted March 8, 2013 Now that's something to show off, a first for me. Beautiful work. Cheryl Quote
