paprhangr Report post Posted January 6, 2014 Seat #4, first seat I wet moulded over the pad/pan and made a stitch ledge then machine sewed the pieces together, the round braid is very nice but takes a lot of time.
jmann8686 Report post Posted January 10, 2014 Wow nice seats. This makes me want to work on mine. I made one last year. It looks alright but was not a good seat to sit on. Not very comfortable and not enough raise in the back of seat. If I jumped on the throttle I slid back.
paprhangr Report post Posted January 10, 2014 Thanks Jmann, I'm a beginner but enjoy. Give it a go I get my pans from Accufast2d.net. Todd has many styles with plenty of flip up keep you in the seat. I use neoprene closed cell foam I get from http://www.foamforyou.com/Closed_Cell_Foam.htm
jmann8686 Report post Posted January 20, 2014 Thank you paprhangr for the sites. I'm hoping once I get settled in 100% in the new house and I have time to work on leather instead of the house I will be able to get back at it.
