chouinardragon Report post Posted March 22, 2013 Hi , I have problem doing the square corner with #10 Vergez Blanchard's pricking iron. The stitch of the square is not good. Please see the attached photo which shows the way I mark the square corner. Any tips? Chris
mikesmith648 Report post Posted March 22, 2013 I am just thinking out loud, but I believe it would work better if you brought the left side up to the corner and then do the top.......I don't have a pricking iron but it seeems to flow better in my mind. Tree Reaper Report post Posted March 23, 2013 Use a single on the corner. http://www.tandyleatherfactory.com/en-usd/Use-Diamond-Chisel-Set-3009-00.aspx
Neillo Report post Posted March 24, 2013 I know a guy that uses a very small hole punch on corners to get a better turn, seems to work well. 1/16 should do it if you can find it
immiketoo Report post Posted March 25, 2013 If it were me, I'd want all my pricks to line up in the same direction. Otherwise your stitches might look odd.
