Rachael,

I'm located in the Hudson/ Catskill area. Been doing leatherwork for about 15 years, mostly smaller items (i.e. wallets, dog collars, knife sheaths, ...) and some reenactment stuff as well.

I could probably give you a few pointers.

I'm fairly new here, so I don't know how this PM stuff works, but you can try that if you want to contact me for my email and/or phone number.

Same here, I can use some help learning. I just made my first frog, it was pretty easy, but I have trouble lining up stamps and that part was a mess.

Another New Yorker here, born and raised in Queens. I'm also a total newbie to leatherwork so I'm not the guy to learn from! This site is chock full of information and helpful members and I learn something from every thread I've read.

Another newbie from Brooklyn.

I wonder if it would be possible to get together a group of newbies with one experienced person?
