Kevin King Posted May 6, 2013 Report Posted May 6, 2013 I have always admired, and been confused at how much goes into making a baseball glove. So I decided to give it a go.... Templates Pieces Sewn together Palm Palm and back sewn together Turning Progress so far Still have a lot to go, but gotta get back to the job list. Ill work on it here and there. Wish me luck...it'll either be super cool or a huge disaster. One of the two. Quote
Kevin King Posted May 6, 2013 Author Report Posted May 6, 2013 Thanks, buddy. I can already see some things I'm going to have to change if I make another one. Quote
Members Bluesman Posted May 6, 2013 Members Report Posted May 6, 2013 Great job. What are you going to use for the stuffing? Quote
Members ShawnM76 Posted May 6, 2013 Members Report Posted May 6, 2013 Wow, this is looking great. I really like the colour contrast, especially the contrast stitching. Looks like a lot of work for sure. Good luck! Quote
Kevin King Posted May 7, 2013 Author Report Posted May 7, 2013 Great job. What are you going to use for the stuffing? Some stiff fiber-y stuff. I don't know what it's called. Only in the fingers and thumb and near the wrist. Wow, this is looking great. I really like the colour contrast, especially the contrast stitching. Looks like a lot of work for sure. Good luck! It's basically a glove inside a glove. Still have to make the inner glove, then hopefully stitch and lace it all together. Next week maybe. Quote
