dangerdan46819 Report post Posted May 13, 2013 Making my first cowboy rig for a Brother- in - law. Want it for a 22. I need help on how to make the belt loops and how to anchor them. Any sources or instruction would be a big help.

TexasJack Report post Posted May 14, 2013 While it may look more "cowboy" to have cartridge loops, .22 caliber cartridges would be more accessible in a box slipped onto the belt. Just a suggestion. Wil Ghormley did a pretty good job of showing how he does cartridge loops - try a search for articles by him.
Dwight Report post Posted May 14, 2013 I use Will Ghormley's basic technique for the ones I build. These aren't the best pictures, . . . but you'll at least get the general idea. Pics 1 and 2 show the front side and back side of both 44 and 22 caliber examples. FWIW, these are my 3 dimensional notes from me to me on how to do this. May God bless, Dwight
