Ok here need some help recently bought a yamata fy5318 new in thr box.got it home assembled it got it ready to go(so I thought).I figured id do a few practice pieces but the needle wont catch the bobbin thread. Itch Report post Posted August 10, 2013 (edited) We have one of those machines and I don't want to jinx myself but it has been a good machine the 4 years that we have had it..We use it for sewing softer leather with. Is this your first machine ? You can read the manual or look all over the internet about it I am sure but if you are new to machines maybe it is best for someone to show you the basics to get started..
